Is it possible to link my gw1 account to my gw2 account after i have done the gw2 account?

I think so, by first putting GW1 and GW2 under the same PlayNC account (or whatever it's called these days).
You might get a better answer to this by posting on GW2guru forums.

They add a place in the account management options now. Login to you account on the gw2 site, and look for the option to link accounts.
